Gurdas Maans' last album BOOTPOLISHAN saw tremendous success. The album contained several hit tracks that only added to the long list of Gurdas Maans' classics. Challie, was an off shoot to the master piece Challa and Sakhiye Saheliyen was a beautiful love song that fell into the league of classic love songs such as Peer Tere Jaan di. Also included was a powerful patriotic track titled Bhagat Singh and Dillan De Jaani dedicated to the late Shri Manoj Punj.
