Jagjit Singh was a gifted singer and a great composer who gave Ghazals a new lease of life with his velvet voice. He was the person who introduced this form of music to the youngsters. His melodies immediately caught the attention of generation next because they could easily relate to it.

Woh Kagaz ki kashti..Woh Baarish ka paani remains one of his most popular works, even in today's materialistic times.
